A renowned biblical studies institute is seeking a Director of Finance to manage financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, the ability to simplify complex data, and a commitment to the institute's evangelical ethos. This role requires 15 to 30 hours per week with a salary of £47,000 to £57,000 depending on experience.
Hours: 15 to 30 hours per week (0.4 to 0.8 FTE; negotiable)

Tyndale House is a renowned institute for biblical studies and possesses one of the finest libraries for biblical research in the world. It aims to grow an international research community, to present the value of the Bible at the highest academic level, to resource the Church to understand and trust the Bible, and to promote informed attitudes to the Bible.
The Director of Finance will be responsible for all aspects of financial management and reporting, including strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting. They must have a good knowledge of third sector accounting, be skilled in financial modelling and be able to clearly explain complex financial data to the Board and the Leadership Team.
This is a strategic, senior role so there is an Occupational Requirement for the post holder to be an active, practising, evangelical Christian in whole-hearted and unreserved agreement and support for the Tyndale House doctrinal basis and ethos.
