At our national distribution centre, we stock over 16,000 (29,000 including specials) veterinary products including pharmaceuticals, instruments, pet products and accessories. The Warehouse Operative role is at the heart of what we at NVS do. The role involves unloading, unpacking and replenishing goods, in compliance with SOPs.
On our warehouse day shift there are various activities, including: unloading HGVs, breaking deliveries down, picking and replenishment of stock. Dealing with a broad range of veterinary products including controlled drugs, items which must be kept between 2 and 8 degrees, bulk items, hazardous and cytotoxic products and other specialist items.
