Role context

As the Digital Trading Assistant, you will support the Mulberry Digital business in achieving budgeted sales plans and delivering an exceptional Mulberry.com customer experience. You will report to the Digital Trading Executive and work with the Senior Digital Trading Manager and the wider Digital Trading/Content team. You will oversee day-to-day trading of Mulberry.com, ensuring timely product launches and accurate on-site representation, while balancing commercial and creative considerations.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain product catalogue, including Pre-Loved, in the e-commerce platform (Hybris) and internal PIM system.
  • Launch new products on Mulberry.com across 8 regions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful launches.
  • Visually merchandise product listing pages (PLPs), populate PLPs with relevant products, manage PLP sort order, and ensure alignment with channel landing points; curate Whats New and gifting PLPs; localise PLP sort order where relevant.
  • Manage PLP badging (e.g. New Season) across regions.
  • Produce reporting on traditional retail and online KPIs to support decision making with data and analysis.
  • Identify out-of-stock products by region, use Coming Soon to capture sign-ups, and inform stock allocation quantities based on sign-ups.
  • Highlight stock opportunities based on performance.
  • Conduct daily site checks to maintain high site standards.
  • Address queries from the Digital Customer Care team in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Buying & Merchandising, Product Merchandising, Marketing, Retail, Tech and other teams.
  • Assess competitor activities and benchmark Mulberry against peers, providing feedback and suggested actions to improve Mulberry.com and the business.
  • Support Digital Concessions as required (e.g. sharing e-commerce imagery or on-site edit nominations with partners).
Skills and knowledge
  • Highly motivated with a strong interest in Digital and the fashion/retail industry.
  • Agile learner, quick to pick up new processes and systems.
  • Organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while delivering to a high standard.
  • Collaborative team player, able to work cross-functionally with internal and remote regional teams.
  • Problem-solving attitude with the ability to stay composed under pressure.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset, with a high level of numeracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Desirable experience with e-commerce tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Content Square).
