Job summary

A leading NHS Trust in Chorley is looking for an experienced Digital Midwife. The role involves managing the Maternity Information System and training staff in its use. You will work clinically and support system implementation, ensuring safe practices. Ideal candidates should be registered midwives, knowledgeable in information systems, and possess strong leadership skills. Qualifications

  • Wide knowledge of information systems.
  • Demonstrable experience of multidisciplinary working.
  • Experience of promoting and maintaining high standards of practice.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Maternity Information System and coordinate the clinical care integration.
  • Ensure training and competence of staff in using the systems.
  • Work clinically across the Maternity Service to maintain competence.

Skills

Ability to demonstrate effective leadership skills
A high level of demonstrable interpersonal skills
Advanced keyboard skills
Ability to participate in change management effectively
Ability to analyse data and formulate comprehensive reports

Education

Registered on part 10 NMC Register
Diploma/degree in health-related topic or working towards the same
ENB 997 or Mentorship course
