Newcastle Hospitals Charity and the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation are entering one of the most exciting and ambitious phases in our history. Together with Newcastle Hospitals, we are building a world‑leading facility, The Sir Bobby Robson Institute, which will transform cancer research and improve the lives of patients across the Northeast and beyond.
Based next to the Northern Centre for Cancer Care at the Freeman Hospital, this incredible new facility will bring together the current Sir Bobby Robson Cancer Trials Research Centre and the hospital's oncology and haematology research teams, creating a united hub for innovation, clinical trials, and hope.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters, over £20 million has already been raised and a major fundraising campaign is now underway to secure the final funds needed to complete the project and turn the vision into reality.
To help drive this transformative work, we are expanding our team with a fixed‑term Digital Communications Officer playing a vital part in bringing the Sir Bobby Robson Institute to life.
NO AGENCIES PLEASE
Bring the story of the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and the new Institute to life across digital channels. You'll create compelling content, manage digital campaigns, and help grow our online presence as we rally supporters behind this vital cause.
