Salary: £36,700 - £47,650

Location: Cambridge, UK – Hybrid (at least 2 days per week in the office)

Contract: Fixed Term/Secondment (6 months)

Hours: Full time (35 hours per week)

About the role

As our Digital Accessibility Advisor, you will:

  • Provide expertise on WCAG standards and act as the primary escalation point, advising teams and ensuring compliance across digital products and services.
  • Drive, coordinate, and communicate digital product and service teams' responses to updates in the Americans with Disabilities Act.
  • Deliver training, resources, and guidance to build capability and foster a culture of inclusion.
  • Collaborate with digital product management, technology, UX, and other business stakeholders to implement best practices.
  • Lead accessibility audits and provide evidence-based recommendations for ongoing improvement.
  • Support the broader EDIB (Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging) strategy.

This position is a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face‑to‑face. Flexible working requests will be considered from the first day of employment, including arrangements for disability or long‑term health conditions.

About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have strong knowledge of digital accessibility standards (WCAG), regulations, and testing methods.
  • Excel at collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including technical teams and senior colleagues.
  • Demonstrate initiative, drive, and perseverance in promoting and sustaining accessibility initiatives.
  • Are well‑organized, methodical, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Communicate clearly in both spoken and written English.
  • Have experience supporting learners with accessibility needs.
