Deputy Nursery Manager - £500 Welcome Scheme

At Warwick, were seeking a passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to support our team in delivering exceptional care and education. To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification. Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Pay: from £28,496 per Annum, based on experience (40 hours per week).

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 38 hours over 4 days per week, 8am-6pm

What Being a Deputy Nursery Manager Involves

  • Lead and mentor the nursery team to deliver high-quality early years education with pride and energy.
  • Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing all aspects of nursery operations, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Act as a role model, fostering an environment of initiative, creativity, and high standards of care.
  • Build strong partnerships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to promote collaboration and excellent outcomes for children.
  • Monitor and guide the team's implementation of the EYFS framework, ensuring engaging and nurturing learning opportunities.
  • Take responsibility for the nursery in the Nursery Manager's absence, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, providing constructive feedback and supporting professional development within your team.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that respects the unique needs of every child.

About Our Nursery

The Old Station Nursery Warwick, located within the grounds of Heathcote Primary School, offers a nurturing environment where children can truly flourish. We are conveniently located just off the A452 in Warwick, within the grounds of Heathcote Primary School on Vickers Way. Parking is available on site. We are based in one room and also offer a Before and Afterschool club based in a different room within Heathcote Primary School. We are a small, friendly team, working closely together dedicated in ensuring childrens time at Preschool is flourishing, offering unique opportunities.
