Job summary

A children's residential care provider in Seghill is seeking a Deputy Manager to oversee operations and support children aged 7 to 17 with Mild Learning Difficulties and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care is delivered consistently and will manage staff rotas. The ideal candidate has previous experience in residential childcare and holds a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce. Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or similar in residential childcare.
  • Full, valid UK driving licence for manual vehicles.
  • Understanding of residential childcare legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home.
  • Manage staff rotas and ensure high-quality care.
  • Support children with Mild Learning Difficulties and EBD.

Skills

Fluent in English (verbal and written)
