A UK-based energy company is seeking a data analyst to support a key Salesforce migration project. Responsibilities include data migration analysis, ensuring accurate data mapping, resolving data quality issues, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have strong experience in data analytics and migration projects, particularly with Salesforce. This role plays a key part in delivering robust data design across projects, aligned to the organisation’s data strategy, with a strong focus on supporting a major Salesforce migration as part of a wider transformation programme. You will provide hands‑on data migration analysis and design, ensuring data is accurately mapped, cleansed, documented, and fit for purpose to enable successful implementation and long‑term value from new platforms.
Working closely with the Data Architect, Data Migration Lead, Business Analysts, and technical and business SMEs, you will analyse how data is used across systems, assess the impact of change, and support data integration and migration design. The role also involves profiling data, identifying and resolving data quality issues, maintaining data catalogue content, and supporting reconciliation and post‑migration testing. Throughout, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, while maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
