Your Role

Our growing Customs team based in Felixstowe is looking for an experienced Customs Coordinator to support with customs clearances for our Air, Ocean, and Road Freight customers.

You will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise through the UK Customs Academy, with full support to complete your Level 2 qualification.

What are you going to do?

Reporting into the Customs Team Leader, you will work alongside your colleagues to ensure all customs clearances are actioned on goods entering and exiting the UK, typically coming from/to European Countries for a multitude of different customers.

You will utilise Destin8 and CNS systems to claim inventory links to add to the customs entry, ensuring a high level of attention to detail and accuracy is maintained to prevent any errors or oversights on documentation.

This role will require regular communication and engagement with the customers, so you’ll need to build and maintain first‑class, long‑lasting relationships with them and be on hand to support at each stage of the process.

This role follows a 4‑on/4‑off shift pattern, with working hours from 06:00 to 18:00.

What are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will need to come with experience working in a Customs Administrator or Customs Coordinator role (or similar) and be confident working in a role that services a large and varied customer base. You’ll need to understand and implement best practice within your role to ensure compliance is maintained, be proactive and efficient in your communication with customers, and be able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
