An international logistics company is seeking a Customs Compliance Assistant for a permanent full-time role. This position offers a competitive salary of £24,000 - £26,000, with responsibilities that include checking customs declarations and preparing compliance reports. Ideal candidates should possess at least 5 GCSEs and A Levels and have strong communication skills. Training is provided, allowing for entry-level candidates to apply.
CUSTOMS COMPLIANCE ASSISTANT (PERMANENT FULL-TIME) (REMOTE/OFFICE BASED)
Salary range: £24,000 - £26,000 (Dependent on Experience).
Location: Remote/Office Based.
Role: Full-Time, Permanent
Work Pattern: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
We are looking for a highly motivated, driven person who can multitask and carry out this role on their own initiative by working alongside our group Head of Compliance.
HANNON Transport is one of Ireland's leading international refrigerated and general hauliers dealing with the daily transportation of chilled, frozen and dry freight.
In order to support its transport business, HANNON Customs is a dedicated team to ensure that all customs requirements are met with regard to the movements of goods in Ireland, UK and Europe. In addition, due to increased growth, the HANNON Customs team has expanded to provide its customs services to external customers.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to gain valuable expertise and experience in a high-growth sector and to benefit from significant development within the role.
You will work closely with our Head of Customs Compliance to ensure that all our customs business activities are carried out correctly and fulfil all their legal obligations. Full internal and external training will be provided, therefore previous experience of working in a customs related or compliance role is not essential.
Whilst previous experience gained in a role involving compliance auditing or accuracy checking is helpful it is not essential.
