Customer Service Assistant

Location: Norwich (with occasional travel to other clinics)

Salary: £25,396.80

Contract: Permanent / Full-time

Hours: Shift-based (including some early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends)

About the Role

This is a heavily call-based position, managing a high volume of calls—up to 100 calls on a busy day alongside email and administrative tasks.

You’ll be the first point of contact for patients and referring companies, arranging appointments, answering queries, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Please note: This role is based in Norwich but will require occasional travel to other clinics and involves working on a shift rota.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver an exceptional patient experience on every call and visit.
  • Handle large volumes of inbound and outbound calls daily to arrange and manage appointments.
  • Reschedule appointments at short notice and keep systems updated.
  • Liaise with referral companies and upload vital documentation.
  • Manage multiple mailboxes and respond promptly to queries.
  • Greet patients and support clinical staff with administrative tasks.
  • Take ownership of the reception area and ensure a professional clinic environment.
