Qualifications

  • Previous motor trade experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and manage daily workload based on priorities and customer KPIs.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls professionally.
  • Welcome customers at reception upon arrival.
  • Progress claims on behalf of customers and assist with paperwork.
  • Use sound selling skills to improve estimate conversion rates.
  • Maintain the Bodyshop management system and update it regularly.
  • Book work according to workshop capacity and customer needs.
  • Liaise with customers regarding completion dates and times.
  • Assign loan vehicles as necessary and maintain records.
  • Raise company paperwork for the vehicle repair process.
  • Monitor the progress of vehicles being repaired.
  • Inform customers of vehicle completion and arrange collection.
  • Check incoming condition of vehicles and inform customers of defects.
  • Process company and insurance documentation.
