.**Creative Designer****Location**: **Hybrid ways of working at our office in Wimbledon.****Salary: Competitive****Contract Type:** **Permanent**We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Creative Designer to join our Creative team at Domestic & General.As part of the Creative Designer team, they will support the team with the delivery of quality, innovative & creative artwork for the Domestic & General Group and specific clients and sectors.They will work closely with the Head of Creative and other designer colleagues, in delivering flexible, responsive and internal/client-focused design service. This is a required part of your application.*****Key Responsibilities:**As part of the Creative Team, assist in designing and executing creative solutions across a broad range of media (emails, social media and digital assets, direct mail, leaflets, posters, stickers, registration cards, presentations etc.) for both the UK & International Marketing teams, and our own communications. Typical activities are:* liaising with internal clients to determine their requirements, budget and timescales, ensuring that all components have been received to enable the design team to produce a proficient proof.* working closely with the copy team and fellow designers to brainstorm creative solutions for new initiatives and develop the best concepts.* present design work at various stages to stakeholders for review and final approval.* in some cases, prepare rough drafts/scamps of material based on an agreed brief for approval.* proofreading and checking to produce accurate and high-quality work.* reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required.* prepare finished artwork for print production. Liaising with external suppliers (printers and contractors) and approval of proofs.* with the Line Managers assistance, handle multiple design projects concurrently, keeping all projects on track.* quality control each design project undertaken prior to going to print/sign off.* seek results.Maintain files and working folders such as:* an archive of all printed/signed off materials.* an image bank, consisting of logos/imagery/assets, available to all stakeholders.* style sheets and templates.Support in the delivery of adhoc design related projects:* undertake additional or other duties as may be appropriate to achieve the objectives of the post and as directed and deemed appropriate by the Line Manager**Skills and experience required:*** Creative and innovative* Good organisational skills* Self-motivated* Strong attention to detail* Willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve* Ability to work alone or as part of a team* Good communication skills; verbal, written and listening* Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines* Consistently and regularly delivers good quality work in good time* Comfortable using Artwork/Studio/Print processes Adobe CS Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) as well as Microsoft office/outlook.
