Chief Product Officer – Emotional Companion Startup (Full Remote)
Social Discovery Group is a global social discovery company united with over 60 brands and 500 million users, focusing on virtual intimacy and AI‑driven social platforms.
We are seeking a CPO who will build a new Emotional Companion product from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Product strategy and P&L – vision, roadmap, pricing and packages, budget, OKRs, margin control, growth rates.
- Growth & monetization – conversion to subscription, upsell (minute bundles/telephony/video), virtual gifts, price experiments, funnels.
- Retention & quality – churn reduction, mechanics for anchoring a “favorite companion,” context handover, NPS/CSAT.
- Supply/Operations – recruiting and training companions (Companion Academy), scheduling/workforce, response SLA, QA/audit.
- Trust & Safety – content policies (ban on sexual/offline), real‑time moderation/post‑moderation, incidents and appeals, transparency.
- AI‑hybrid – phased rollout (assistant > hybrid > AI‑tier) to reduce COGS without losing brand trust.
- Risks/crisis comms – preparation and execution of crisis communications (compensated dating narrative), interaction with platforms and media.
- Team – hiring, development, culture of data and accountability for results.
Qualifications
- 8–12+ years in consumer subscription/marketplace (wellness/communications/telemedicine/EdTech), managed P&L.
- Scaling supply operations (contact centers/gig) 1,000–10,000+ providers; workforce/SLA.
- Trust & Safety/UGC policies, passing App Store/Google Play requirements.
- Experience implementing AI assistants/hybrids in consumer products.
- Fluent in Russian.
