A leading construction consulting firm in Birmingham is seeking a Cost Management professional to support commercial leads with payment applications, manage subcontractor contracts, and ensure accurate cost reporting. The ideal candidate has a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, significant experience in cost management, and strong skills in MS Excel. With over 50 years of experience in the rail industry, we’ve delivered complex and challenging multidisciplinary projects all over the world. Our expertise extends to stations, depots, operations, maintenance analytics and asset management across all aspects of rail, including transport, technical and sustainability assessments and systems infrastructure.
You will be based in our office in Birmingham and will be required to be in the office 3 days a week.
Purpose of the Job:
To support the NOP1 Commercial Lead with preparation of the monthly Application for Payment for the Design Joint Venture.
To support Adjustment Events and Risk Drawdowns, bottom up forecasts and estimating the cost of change.
To manage Subcontractors contracts.
