Control of Work Supervisor

As a Control of Work Supervisor at our Storengy UK Stublach site, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient operations while contributing to our mission of accelerating the transition towards a carbon‑neutral world.

Summary of what you will do
  • Own and administer the Safe System of Work process for the Storengy UK Stublach site
  • Create and issue appropriate safety documentation, ensuring work on site is safely managed
  • Design and implement process isolations for safe execution of maintenance and operational tasks
  • Control supporting documents for the Permit to Work process
  • Coordinate with the Control Room to carry out return‑to‑service checks on equipment
  • Audit work to ensure effective implementation of identified controls
  • Investigate and communicate safety‑related issues for timely resolution
What you will bring to the role
  • 5+ years’ experience in Plant Operations, including permit issuing & process isolation, preferably in heavily regulated industries
  • Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety, specifically COMAH regulations and SIOPE (HSG253)
  • BTEC ONC in a technical/engineering subject (BTEC HNC preferred)
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Control Room Operations, Process Technology, or relevant vocational qualification
  • IOSH Managing / Working Safely certification (essential), NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety (preferred)
  • Strong IT skills and ability to keep accurate data records
  • Full UK driving licence
  • High level of personal resilience, persistence, and a can‑do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide leadership

This is a site based role is based at our site in Stublach, Cheshire ( CW9 7SE)
