A defense contractor is seeking a Contracts Manager for a full-time position in Diego Garcia. The role involves leading contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing a team. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in government contracts and possess strong leadership and analytical skills. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting U.S. military operations.
Compensation is contingent upon contract award and will be full-time on the island of Diego Garcia.
This individual will lead contract negotiations, ensure regulatory compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and DoD FAR Supplement (FAR/DFARS), and oversee a team supporting a high‑value program.
The Contract Manager will primarily lead a contracts team in support of the Expeditionary & Diplomacy Supply Chain (EDSC) portfolio, delivering logistics, operational, and maintenance solutions to Department of Defense customers, including the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, and British military. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic, high‑energy environment and meet all required qualifications for a contracts professional.
Generally, works in an office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines. This position can be authorized to work remotely.
