Job description

Full Time · Based at Tewinbury, Hertfordshire

We’re looking for a Content Creator & Social Media Manager to join our marketing team and take ownership of content and social media across a small portfolio of hospitality venues, all located within six minutes of each other.

This role is ideal for someone genuinely creative, who enjoys being out and about, and who would love to be rooted in the countryside while working across both rural and town-based venues.

The Venues You’ll Work Across
Tewinbury Farm Hotel

Set on a working farm in the Hertfordshire countryside, Tewinbury is a constantly evolving destination. Content opportunities here are wide-ranging and hands‑on. From spending time with our farmers, filming pigs or cows, capturing outdoor dinners by the lake, indoor and outdoor weddings and seasonal events.

The site includes two restaurants, a wine bar, lakeside huts, accommodation, event spaces and new concepts launching regularly - making this a brilliant environment for someone who enjoys variety and storytelling rooted in place and seasonality.

Hertford House Hotel

A lively boutique hotel in the centre of Hertford, with a strong social scene. Home to a pub, restaurant, basement venue and regular events, this is a buzzy, urban contrast to the countryside, great for evening content, interiors, food, drinks and atmosphere‑led storytelling.

The Cow & Stout

A modern British pub focused on good food, well‑kept pints and live sport. Strong community feel, familiar favourites, and plenty of moments worth capturing.

The View

A sports bar set in the middle of a golf course, showing live sport, serving food and drinks, and known for its relaxed, sociable atmosphere.

Each venue has its own personality, and your role is to reflect that clearly and consistently across social channels.

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you’ll be responsible for creating and managing content that brings these venues to life online.

This is a hands‑on, on‑site role, one day you might be filming an outdoor wedding, the next capturing a busy match day, a lakeside dinner, or behind‑the‑scenes moments on the farm.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Creating photo and video content across all venues
  • Managing social media accounts and posting schedules
  • Planning and maintaining content calendars
  • Writing clear, on‑brand captions and copy
  • Engaging with audiences and responding to messages
  • Working closely with venue teams, events and operations
  • Monitoring performance and reporting on results
About You
  • 2+ years’ experience in content creation and social media management
  • Confident filming, photographing, and editing content for social platforms
  • Comfortable working across multiple venues and brand styles
  • Organised, proactive, and happy to be out on site
  • An interest in food, drink, hospitality, and countryside life
  • Experience in hospitality or lifestyle brands is a bonus
What We Offer
  • A creative role split between countryside and town venues
  • Variety, no two days look the same
  • The chance to be part of a growing destination with more to come
  • Hybrid working with regular on‑site content days
  • Competitive salary based on experience
