A local government authority is seeking a motivated Consultant Surveyor in North East England. In this role, you will manage a team focused on acquisitions and disposals, conduct complex valuations, and lead negotiations to align property activities with strategic goals. This position requires a relevant degree and full membership in the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. A competitive salary and flexible working arrangements are offered, along with 27 days of annual leave, rising after five years.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual for the position of Consultant Surveyor within the Corporate Property and Land Service. With a large, varied estate spread throughout County Durham and ambitious regeneration schemes underway, now is an exciting time to join us and be part of this delivery.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
As the Consultant Surveyor focusing on Acquisitions and Disposals you will ensure the team is proactively dealing with acquisitions and disposals. You will be responsible for managing a team of surveyors carrying out acquisitions, disposals and valuations on a daily basis. You will work closely with other public and private sector partners.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You will need the following:-
You will have a proven track record of delivery of measures to improve and delivery property and land-based functions as well as experience of managing budgets.
