A leading healthcare provider in Scotland is looking for a full-time Consultant Radiologist at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to general radiology and specialize in areas like MSK, Breast, and pediatric imaging. You'll work with a supportive team in a friendly environment. A significant relocation package is available for new permanent members. Interested candidates should apply by January 25, 2026.
Full Time / 10 PA (Part Time considered). Applications invited to join the team at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness on a 10 PA basis per week, with support for those wishing to work part‑time. Some home‑working will also be available. Out‑of‑hours CT is entirely provided by teleradiology and there is currently no on‑call commitment.
Posts are to support the general radiology needs for the department, but a wide range of specialist activities are provided within NHS Highland and specialist interests are encouraged. Interests in MSK, Breast, cardiothoracic and paediatric imaging would be especially welcome; any other existing specialist interests will also be considered.
You will be working alongside dynamic and supportive clinical colleagues in radiology, nursing and a range of medical & surgical specialties. The hospitals in the Highlands are pleasant and friendly places to work.
Applicants must be on the General Medical Council Specialist Register with a licence to practice.
We offer a substantial relocation package for new permanent members of the team. Applicants are encouraged to visit the department prior to applying, with the costs of a preliminary visit being met by NHS Highland.
