A major NHS organization in the UK is seeking a full-time Consultant in Anaesthetics based at Ipswich Hospital. This role involves a variety of specialties, particularly in general and orthopaedics. Dynamic, collaborative colleagues with significant experience in regional and obstetric anaesthesia are specifically sought. We are inviting applications for a full time Consultant in Anaesthetics based at Ipswich Hospital, part of East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT).
This post has been developed as we expand our permanent workforce as well as bring new colleagues into our team following retirements. We are a strong and supportive department and are looking for colleagues who can bring their own skills and attributes to the department. The initial job plan will involve a variety of specialties, particularly major general/urology, orthopaedics/trauma surgery.
We are particularly interested in recruiting colleagues with significant interest and experience in 1) regional anaesthesia and anaesthesia for orthopaedic surgery, and 2) obstetric anaesthesia. Most importantly we are seeking dynamic and collaborative colleagues who have a broad based clinical experience relevant to a busy DGH and interests in both quality improvement and education.
