A leading defense engineering firm is seeking a Constructive Engineering Specialist – Submarine Structures to provide technical leadership and solve complex engineering challenges. The role requires extensive experience in submarine build and maintenance, with responsibilities including advisory technical services and mentoring. This hybrid position is based in Bristol and offers up to £85,000 dependent on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package and development opportunities.

As a Constructive Engineering Specialist Submarine Structures, you will be recognised as a subject matter expert within Babcock, providing authoritative technical leadership across submarine structural disciplines. This is a strategically important role, partnering closely with the MoD to solve complex engineering challenges and influence both in‑service support and future submarine design.
Day‑to‑day, you’ll use your deep expertise to resolve complex technical challenges and provide authoritative assurance across your specialist area.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
