Concierge – Manchester

Hourly Rate: £13

Contract: Permanent, 18 hours per week

Working Hours: 7am – 9pm, flexibility required throughout the week

Spaces are created to transform work/life balance, and our services take care of the finer details, so residents enjoy more of each day effortlessly. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Concierge to support our luxurious site in Manchester. As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the day to day living experience for our residents in addition to supporting with the delivery of events and private functions.

Responsibilities
  • Front of House / Reception – greet and welcome residents and guests with a warm, friendly and vibrant attitude.
  • Manage room turn‑arounds, check‑in and check‑outs.
  • Ensure our facilities are being looked after respectfully by residents & guests.
  • Be on hand, delivering solutions to issues or challenges that may arise.
Event Management
  • Promote events, garnering resident interest and confirming guest list attendance.
  • Prepare & deliver events with a lively and vibrant approach.
  • Close events, cleaning and tidying all equipment and products as required.
Bar Assistant / Private Functions
  • Provide high‑quality bar service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a luxurious bar environment.
  • Develop and maintain in‑depth knowledge of the menu and offerings to answer guest inquiries, provide recommendations, and enhance their dining experience.
  • Mix ingredients to make cocktails, spirits, and non‑alcoholic drinks.
  • Prepare and serve high‑quality coffee and hot drinks, brewing, steaming, and crafting specialty drinks with precision and consistency.
  • Take orders, serve drinks, and recommend drinks based on customer preferences.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintain the upkeep of our premium site & facilities; communal areas must be cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Conduct block walks every 4‑6 hours surveying and reporting every area of the building.
  • Replenish refreshment stock, such as coffee beans, tea bags, milk and vending machine products.
  • Be a point of contact for any potential incident or emergency that may occur on‑site.
  • Manage & store parcels correctly to allow residents to easily access deliveries as required.
  • Maintain waste management areas adhering to health & safety regulations, ensuring potential hazards are addressed, cleaned, tidied, or reorganised as required.
Professional Experience & Personal Characteristics
  • An experienced customer service professional, well‑versed in delivering premium experiences to residents & guests.
  • Previous Concierge experience would be an advantage.
  • Bar experience would be a significant advantage.
  • Technologically astute, comfortable with a variety of technology systems and software.
  • Excellent communication skills, with English as the primary spoken language; multilingual skills welcomed.
  • Strong organisational and leadership qualities with an ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Adaptability, creativity & positivity.
  • Resilience, with an ability to effectively navigate unexpected situations.
  • Flexible to 24/7 availability and able to stand for extended periods; reasonable adjustments considered where required.
