Qualifications

  • Substantial experience in managing a caseload in a community setting.
  • Experience of working with individuals with complex mental health needs.
  • Ability to coordinate and delegate the work of junior staff.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments.
  • Implement effective risk management plans for patients.
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams for care provision.

Skills

Evidence of ability to provide specialist mental health assessment
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

Education

Registered Mental Health Nurse
Current registration with appropriate regulatory body (e.g. NMC)
Completion of Preceptorship
Qualification in psychological therapeutic interventions
