Qualifications

  • Experience as a Facilities/Maintenance Technician is preferred.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Community Facilities Technician to join our team in East Dunbartonshire. You will join us on a part-time, Permanent basis. Schedule will be Monday-Thursday 6pm - 10pm and Saturday 8am - 4pm (25 hour)

About the Role

To undertake day-to-day maintenance activities, routine service, fault finding, and repair of building services and equipment.

  • Open and close school in accordance with required school occupancy times.
  • Carry out internal and external checks of building and report faults to Help Desk such as damaged tiles, leaks etc.
  • Carry out non-specialist repairs.
  • Ensure that PPM tasks are carried out and completed within the timescales.
  • Ensure all visitors sign in and out of site and to include control of keys.
  • Ensure Site Induction has been carried out for all contractors and visitors.
  • Ensure Risk Assessments/Method Statements are reviewed for work being carried out.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure the operation of the school is compliant at all times.
