Salary: £24,465 pro rata per annum (Yearly)

Job overview

We have a vacancy available in the Housekeeping Team at Rye Memorial Hospital.

Schedule:

  • Week 1: 16:00-19:30 on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Week 2: 16:00-19:30 on Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Every other weekend, with weekend enhancements paid.
Main duties of the job

The role involves all types of housekeeping duties in a busy rehabilitation hospital environment and works as part of a team of 5 housekeepers.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of patient areas, wards and common spaces.
  • Perform cleaning, disinfecting and waste handling according to NHS standards.
  • Assist with linen and equipment management.
  • Support infection control procedures.
  • Communicate with colleagues and supervisors to coordinate workloads.
