Job Summary

We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Community Engagement Coaches to work across our 'Premier League Kicks', 'Get Involved' and other community outreach projects. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging sessions, and will join a team of experienced and dedicated coaches, using sport and youth work to help young people better their lives.

Job Description

As a Community Engagement Coach you will:

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate sessions which focus on developing life skills along with fundamental football skills and techniques;
  • Promote enjoyment for the game across the whole 'Premier League Kicks' programme, including Disability and Girls sessions;
  • Support in the delivery of tournaments and matches, refereeing or managing young people, ensuring they all receive equal playing time and experience;
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with participants, parents, community partners and other coaching staff;
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants during sessions and matches, adhering to Foundation policies and procedures;
  • Maintain accurate records for monitoring and evaluation to include attendance and feedback.
Person Specification

As a successful candidate you will:

  • Have experience in coaching football, ideally within a community environment, with a proven track record of success;
  • Be a FA/UEFA qualified coach, ideally at Level 2/UEFA C, or have an appropriate youth work qualification;
  • Have a passion for making a difference to young people’s lives;
  • Be reliable, organised, flexible and willing to learn;
  • Be available for evening, weekend and/or holiday work.
