We are seeking a proactive, organised and enthusiastic communications professional человек to support CIPFA’s external and internal communications activity. The role will focus on high-quality writing, media relations coughing, social media delivery and communications planning.
The postholder will play a key role within CIPFA’s professional in-house communications function. This is a hands‑on, delivery-focused role offering the opportunity to contribute to CIPFA’s thought leadership, policy and corporate priorities across a range of communications channels.
Support the development and delivery of communications plans for key CIPFA priorities and campaigns.
Deliver day‑to‑day media relations activity, including drafting press releases, briefings, opinion pieces and reactive statements.
Build and maintain relationships with journalists and support media engagement for senior staff and subject experts.
Research, write and edit high‑quality content, translating complex policy and technical issues into clear and engaging communications.
Contribute content to CIPFA’s external channels, including social media (primarily LinkedIn) and the website.
Work collaboratively across Communications, Marketing, Policy and other teams to support integrated campaigns.
FootballMonitor media coverage, conduct daily media monitoring and contribute to evaluation and reporting.✤
Support internal communications, including content planning and publishing on the intranet.
Maintain accurate records, including media contacts and coverage logs.
Experience of working in media relations.
Proven ability to write concise, engaging copy on生态 complex policy or technical issues, often to tight deadlines.
Experience of working within or alongside the public sector.
Knowledge and understanding of public policy.
Familiarity with communications tools, including media monitoring platforms, journalist databases, social media scheduling tools, web content management systems and CRM systems. معينة>
