Sefton’s Adult Social Care Commissioning & Transformation Team have an exciting opportunity available for two Commissioning Officer posts.

You will support the Strategic Commissioning Managers on a range of strategic priorities across commissioning with a current focus on You will support the Strategic Commissioning Managers on a range of strategic priorities across commissioning with the two posts having focus on:

  • Home Care & Reablement
  • Community-Based Services, including Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector and Day Opportunities.

The posts will work within the ASC Commissioning and Transformation Team, and you will need an excellent understanding of commissioning, a well-developed commissioning skill set and experience in delivering commissioning outcomes to a range of vulnerable people or groups within Adult Social Care. You will support the commissioning function to ensure that a strategic approach is taken, in line with Council priorities and with local and national policy objectives.
