Responsibilities

• Deliver fault-finding, service, maintenance, and breakdown support for heating and ventilation systems.
• Attend emergency call-outs, completing statutory PPMs in line with SFG20 standards.
• Maintain accurate records (both electronic and written) and manage subcontractors as needed.

Recruit4staff are representing a well‑established building services provider in their search for a Commercial Gas Engineer to work in Manchester.

Job Details

• Pay: £42,000 per annum
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Duration: Permanent

Job Role

The Commercial Gas Engineer will work across various commercial and industrial client sites delivering fault‑finding, service, maintenance, and breakdown support for heating and ventilation systems. Responsibilities include working on boilers, burners, radiant heaters, air handling units (AHUs), and related equipment. The role involves attending emergency call‑outs, completing statutory PPMs in line with SFG20 standards, maintaining accurate records (both electronic and written), updating site log books, and managing subcontractors as needed.
