A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking a Commercial Brand Strategist to develop and execute brand strategy. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of marketing experience, especially in healthcare, and will work in a hybrid model. This is a hybrid role for Northern Ireland employees (2-3 days per week in the office) and fully remote for elsewhere in the UK.

The Commercial Brand Strategist will work with the VP of Marketing and other key stakeholders across the business to define, execute and continuously shape brand strategy and positioning for the group. The role holder will conduct thorough market research, infer market demands, unravel complex insights, business needs and challenges, and develop a methodology that translates insights into campaign plans to build brand equity, market awareness and customer demand.
Responsibilities include developing brand campaigns aligned to Data and Engagement, Scientific and Advisory Service teams; building product understanding and uptake across the industry; creating innovative marketing angles to connect client and prospect needs with products and services; collaborating with marketing colleagues, SMEs, sales and stakeholder groups; and utilizing the full omnichannel marketing mix, including market research, data strategy, digital planning, events, content, media partners and compelling positioning.
Oversee management of accurate databases for customers and prospects, using company systems.
Develop and use up‑to‑date databases to build relationships with existing and prospective customers, achieving annual targets and targeting key decision makers across our product areas.
EvaluationPrepare and deliver reports outlining progress against marketing and corporate KPIs.
Adapt plans based on market, company, customer insights and evaluation.
LeadershipCollaborate across the wider marketing team, supervise day‑to‑day activities, and create personal development and mentoring plans.
Capability to work across multifunctional teams, drive growth, and contribute to strategic initiatives. Line‑manage performance of other people’s work through projects, including effective delegation.
Customer Service / External ImpactStrong awareness of customer relationship considerations, represent Diaceutics Brand effectively, and manage communication with external stakeholders and suppliers, often handling sensitive and confidential data.
Decision‑MakingSet an example, progress methodologies and campaigns, maintain consistency, insist on high quality standards, take ownership and show initiative while working within a focused team.
Initiative and IndependenceGoal‑orientated, resilient, with a determined personality. Lead simultaneous brand campaigns and initiatives, manage internal and external scheduling, project management, and planning for launches and communications.
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, science or a commercial field (Master’s Degree preferred).
