Roles and Responsibilities
  • Setting the standard of the very best customer service levels at all times and presentation of CDG mainline
  • Selling, directing and driving CDG sales across the business
  • Offering a personalised shopping and styling experience to our CDG clients
  • Delivering the monthly and seasonal sales targets working closely with the team to support CDG growth
  • Ensuring that CDG customers are added to the DSM Database
  • Keeping up to date with all current fashion trends and advising customers accordingly on stock availability at DSM
  • Maintaining a customer book of key customers and VIP’s specialising in the CDG brands
  • Providing feedback to CDG Buying team on customer preferences and needs after collecting relevant information from sales associates
  • Co-ordinate training across all CDG lines and support in the formation and delivery of ongoing presentations to store to re‑iterate the importance strong focus of CDG collections
  • An eye for visual merchandising to continually tweak the space and work closely with the Visual Merchandiser and CDG VM Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the best levels of customer service at all times.
  • Act as a general CDG brand ambassador - expertise in the brand, space and product - additionally understanding of trends that would affect the brand in a positive/negative way.
  • Ensuring that customers are added to the DSM Database.
  • Hosting or supporting with brand specific events.
  • Involved with staff training and ongoing presentations to store with product updates.
  • Providing or maintaining a liaison with merchandise team - prepared to buying feedback from season to season.
Skills and Knowledge
  • At least 3 years in high‑end/luxury retail or relevant brand experience is advantageous.
  • Specific understanding of the Comme des Garcons Fashion House, aesthetic, consumer and sub‑brands.
  • Ability to client at a high level and set a clear example for other members of DSM sales team.
  • Specific understanding of all collections, stock availability at DSM, experience with similar brands is preferential.
  • Client book of potential new business for DSM.
  • Knowledge of Retail Pro/Prism (Not essential).
