An innovative cloud solutions company in York is seeking experienced Azure professionals to join their team. The role involves engaging with customers to understand diverse needs and working on projects that involve cloud technologies and AI. This flexible, remote-friendly position emphasizes continuous learning and collaboration. Ideal candidates should have broad Azure experience, be open to challenges, and thrive in a dynamic environment. Interested individuals are encouraged to reach out directly for discussions.
Zure is an organisation that thrives on challenge. In the UK we are just over a year old, but the Group we are part of has been around for over ten years and we are supported by experts across Europe. As we enter our second year, we are looking to the future expanding our team with Azure experts who enjoy solving difficult problems for customers as part of a highly skilled team.
We prefer the whiteboard to the clipboard. We want to help our customers grow and learn so that they can take ownership their cloud journey. Our goal is to help them understand their challenges and plan their own digital journey as our team supports them through skills and knowledge transfer, helping to craft the vision, and providing the ability to execute.
There are no outside investors at Zure. We are not pushing for rapid growth to enable a successful exit for the founders. We are building a business that any who works here can own a part of. Our founders and leadership include internationally recognised technical experts who remain involved in delivery to customers.
Our relationship with our customers is important to us. We aim to build relationships on trust and successful delivery. The problems our customers bring to us can often mean that we need to learn new skills and technologies. We are honest about our expertise and experience and support our customers as we operate together with cutting-edge technologies to deliver their objectives.
We need people who are not afraid to take risks, people who don’t balk at unexpected challenge because we often encounter problems we have not seen before. That means we sometimes make mistakes, but we make them together and own them without blame. We learn from mistakes because we want to be better next time and to bring that resulting wisdom to other customers.
Community is also important to us. Not just the community of our colleagues, but the broader technical community that shares expertise and knowledge through blogs, user groups, and conferences. We encourage engagement with the community through meetups and conferences and make sure we have time and budget to support community activities.
If this sounds like the kind of environment where you will thrive then we want to talk to you. At Zure we value our people because they are our strength. We are looking for people who love to learn new skills, to face new challenges and be continually learning in our ever-expanding industry. Our mantra is to roar at challenge and that requires hard work and commitment – to our customers, our teammates, and ourselves.
Our office is in York, and we try to meet in person every week or so. We may need to visit our customers at their offices. For the most part though, our work is remote (but there’s always a chat channel or call going on). Provided we deliver on our promises, and our customers are happy we can be flexible over where and how we work.
We haven’t defined an explicit job description because our customers don’t always have clearly defined needs. We are looking for people with broad experience in Azure, from platform engineering, through modern application development, to exploring the art of the possible with AI. If you are an experienced practitioner that works in one or more of these areas, then we’re interested in talking to you. Leave your details here or reach out to Rik or Riccardo on LinkedIn and let’s talk over email, chat, or a call. However you get in touch, we promise to respond!
