A leading insurance provider in Greater London is looking for a Cloud Capacity Manager to enhance its capacity management capability. The successful candidate will optimize cloud resources, lead capacity reports, and collaborate with various teams to align IT needs with business demands. We’re looking for a Cloud Capacity Manager to lead and develop our capacity management capability, ensuring Direct Line has the IT capacity to meet current and future business needs. This role covers compute, storage, and networks across AWS, Azure, and third‑party SaaS.
This position is offered on 12 months Fixed Term Contract basis, with smart hybrid working from our central London office.
You’ll work closely with teams across Service Introduction, Cloud Governance, Cloud FinOps, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Engineering and the wider business — making sure our systems are scalable, efficient, and aligned with customer and business demands. You’ll also take ownership of capacity management controls, partnering with the Chief Controls Office to ensure we’re operating to the highest standards.
