Qualifications

  • Qualified psychotherapist/counsellor with 2+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Registered with UKCP, BACP, ACP, BPC or HCPC.
  • Experience working with Looked After Children and foster carers is desirable.

Job description
Overview

Position: Clinician. Location: North Mids - Telford. Hours: 21 hours per week (Flexible Working Pattern). Salary: £30,900 - £41,200 DOE (Pro Rata).

Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic support and strategies to foster carers within our Care+ 360 packages.
  • Create and review therapeutic care plans tailored to each child’s needs.
  • Offer clinical time to carers and maintain accurate, GDPR-compliant notes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external professionals through multi-agency meetings and case discussions.
  • Report any safeguarding concerns appropriately and promptly.
  • Contribute to training and development of staff and foster carers.
  • Participate in group supervision, line management, and CPD activities.
About You

We’re looking for someone who brings empathy, professionalism, and a strong clinical foundation to the role. You will be:

Qualifications & Registration
  • Qualified psychotherapist/counsellor with 2+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Registered with UKCP, BACP, ACP, BPC or HCPC.
  • Educated to degree level or above (Master’s preferred).
Skills & Experience
  • Experience working with Looked After Children, young people, and/or foster carers (desirable).
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed and attachment-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Confident in writing assessments and formulating care plans.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a team.
Additional Requirements
  • Access to own vehicle and a full, clean driving licence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and confident using online platforms.
