Job summary

A healthcare organization in Inverness seeks a Clinical Educator in the Acute Medicine Unit to implement training for staff. Candidates should be motivated with a commitment to staff development and experience in acute adult nursing. About the Clinical Educator role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Educator in the Acute Medicine Unit, the Unit covers an Acute Assessment Unit, Ambulatory Emergency Care and Medical High Dependency Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the AMU team to implement and support mandatory and essential training for approximately 110 staff ranging from Band 2 to 8a.
  • Support staff with the SVQ programme and provide training where required.
  • Arrange staff induction to the unit and organise regular and ad‑hoc training sessions to meet the needs of the team.

  • Able to work well as part of a diverse multidisciplinary team with excellent care values and a strong sense of team spirit.
  • Experience in acute adult nursing; RGN with critical care experience preferred.
  • Dynamic, forward‑thinking and able to function as a role model demonstrating depth of knowledge, expertise, proficiency and experience.
Working hours

Hours of work are to meet the needs of the service, currently 0800‑1600 Monday to Friday.
