A local government organization in Wales is seeking a Clerk of Works to supervise landscape construction on new infrastructure projects in Parks. This role involves monitoring contractor performance, liaising with various stakeholders, and ensuring projects are completed within budgets. The ideal candidate will have a full driving licence and a genuine interest in enhancing public open spaces. The position is full-time and permanent, with potential online and homeworking options available.

An exciting opportunity exists for a keen and enthusiastic Clerk of Works to join the Strategy, Design and Land Management Team delivering new infrastructure projects in Parks.
The role of the Clerk of Works will be to assist, supervise monitor & implement all aspects of Landscape construction work on site, including the recording of site reports and Health & Safety. Projects will include Playgrounds, Skateparks, Pathworks and Park infrastructure.

Whilst the majority of work will be on site, we are moving to online and homeworking working and you will be encouraged to develop the skills to support this. Where homeworking is required, you will be given the necessary equipment however, you will need to arrange your own internet connectivity.
