A leading lighting manufacturer in Gillingham seeks a reliable Cleaning Operative to ensure the cleanliness of their site. Responsibilities

  • Routine cleaning of the entire Dextra site.
  • Maintain cleanliness in canteens and offices.
  • Ensure washrooms are cleaned and stocked appropriately.
  • Adhere to Quality Control and Health & Safety guidelines.

To routinely clean the Dextra site in all areas to include:

  • Keeping the canteens clean; wiping tables, sweeping and mopping floors and cleaning windows, etc
  • The cleaning of offices, emptying bins, cleaning desks on request, cleaning windows and vacuuming of carpets
  • Cleaning of all washrooms, including washing down hand basins, cleaning toilets and urinals, sweeping and mopping floors and wiping down cubicles and walls
  • To replenish toilet rolls, hand soap and alcohol gel when necessary
  • To wash tea towels, mops and cloths daily
  • When needed a ‘spring clean’ will be organised
  • Adhoc cleaning of meeting rooms, corridors and visitor centre, or spills during the day
  • Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the company
  • Follow the requirements of the company’s ISO procedures ie: Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures
  • Follow the company’s Health & Safety policy, work instructions and Safe Systems of Work
