Job description

Skyline Roofing Centres are a leading supplier of roofing and building materials with branches within and around the M25. Our sales indicate that we are the leading privately owned supplier of roofing materials and we have been operating for over 45 years.


We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Hiab Driver to join our busy Brockley branch. This is a full time, permanent role. We offer a competitive salary, 28 days holiday, life assurance & EAP, discretionary bonus, Cyclescheme and Long Service Awards.


Hours: Monday to Friday 7.00am - 4.30pm and Saturdays 7.30am-10.30am.


Role


  • Delivery and collection of roofing and associated materials to site and respective suppliers, by means of mechanical and/or manual loading and unloading

  • Clearance of second hand materials and rubbish from site

  • Loading and unloading customers, suppliers and own vehicles

  • Assisting customers with enquiries

  • Responsibility for routine vehicle inspections on a daily basis

  • Weekly inspections recorded on the official Company report document

  • Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle at all times

  • Maintain all statutory records

  • Act in a courteous manner to customers and other road users
