A logistics company in Birmingham is seeking Class 1 or 2 Drivers for full-time shifts, paying £17.86 per hour including holiday pay. • Maximum of 6 SP penalty points accepted.
• DBS check required for security purposes.
• 5 years of work/education history needed for security clearance.

• Plan and complete 4-6 deliveries per shift.
• Transport goods between customer locations.
• Perform vehicle checks for safety.

• Accurately scan consignments and operate pallet trucks.

Job description

Class 1 or 2 Driver - Birmingham

Pay: £17.86 p/hour including advanced holiday pay (Weekly Pay, PAYE Only). Plus shift premiums per shift.

Hours: Full‑time, 45 hours per week, Mon‑Fri, 6 am/7 am starts, 9‑hour shifts.

Your Responsibilities as a Class 1 & 2 Driver

• Plan and complete 4‑6 deliveries per shift
• Transport cages, pallets, freights, stillages, and yorks to and from customer locations
• Perform vehicle checks and ensure trailers are in safe working order
• Load and unload goods (where necessary)
• Accurately scan consignments and operate pallet trucks where required

What You'll Need as a Class 1 & 2 Driver

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license + Driver CPC & DIGI cards
• Minimum 2 years Class 1 license + 6 months Class 1 driving experience
• Maximum 6 SP penalty points accepted (no other endorsements)
• DBS check required
• 5 years of work/education history (for security clearance)
