Claims Pet Products Delegated Authority Consultant: Ageas is looking for a dynamic individual to take the lead in managing relationships and driving governance of delegated claims authority for our Pet products. You’ll champion strong partnerships, keep a sharp eye on performance, and ensure our TPA delivers services that truly reflect Ageas’ promise of care, quality, and excellence.

This role may involve occasional supplier visits, including overnight stays when required.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain strongrelationships with Third-Party Administratorsensuringcompliance with regulations and alignment with Ageas objectives.
  • Drive Consumer Duty andConduct Risk oversight, ensuring customer outcomes meet regulatoryexpectations.
  • Oversee claims performance,cost control, and customer experience.
  • Act as a technical expert forPet claims. Key Technical responsibilities include acting as a referralpoint for complex claims escalations, and embedding improvements toprocesses, controls, best practices and customer journeys.
  • Engage with veterinarynetworks and industry bodies to strengthen market presence andinfluence.
  • Collaborate with other Ageasteams to develop capability and mitigate risks.
Skills and Experience
  • Pet Insurance claims handling and product knowledge experience essential, ideally with strong veterinary network knowledge.
  • Delegated Authority Oversight experience managing outsourced claims arrangements.
  • MI & Insight Capability able to interpret claims MI and feed into Pricing, Underwriting, and Partners.
  • Regulatory Awareness strong understanding on consumer duty and fair value frameworks.
