A leading apprenticeship agency in the UK seeks enthusiastic individuals for a Civil Engineer apprenticeship. This 36-month program covers key engineering skills, where you will assist in planning and managing civil engineering projects. You will gain hands-on experience, supported by training in CAD, BIM, and REVIT, while adhering to safety protocols. Successful candidates will possess a proactive attitude, good communication skills, and a target to improve the future of construction through sustainable employment.
Civil engineers support the planning, design, building, management, maintenance or dismantling of buildings, structures, and infrastructure. They will use and apply engineering principles and techniques, carry out calculations and data analysis, prepare and produce sketches and diagrams. Duties typically include:
40 hours p/w with start time typically between 07:00 & 08:00 inclusive of paid 8 hours at college.
English and Maths at GCSE Grade 4 or above, or Functional Skills at Level 2 or above.
It will be an advantage if you have some previous related work experience or completed a Level 2 Engineering qualification.
K10 will enrol you to the Level 3 Civil Engineering course and fund your qualifications through an accredited training provider.
The apprenticeship duration is 36 months with an additional 4 months for your End Point Assessment (EPA).
