Job summary

A leading infrastructure services provider in Scotland is seeking a candidate to manage public and stakeholder inquiries within their highways maintenance team. Where will you be working?

What will you be doing?
  • Handle public and stakeholder enquiries and complaints in line with Suffolk County Council’s policy.
  • Support the Communications Manager with social value, communication projects, and internal/external campaigns.
  • Monitor customer feedback to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Assist operational teams with effective communication of work programmes.
  • Deliver and improve stakeholder and communication plans for the Suffolk Highways Contract.
  • Implement M Group’s ‘Every Customer Counts’ toolkit to enhance customer service and perception.
What you’ll bring
  • Proven experience in public-facing roles with strong complaint resolution skills.
  • Effective influencer with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Skilled in delivering action plans and improvement programmes.
  • Confident engaging with Councillors and the public; passionate about customer service.
  • Forward-thinking, innovative, and able to plan ahead with practical, resilient ideas.
  • Knowledge of highway maintenance desirable.
