A sustainable facilities management provider is seeking a Catering Supervisor in Tees Valley to oversee canteen operations. This full-time role requires strong practical cooking skills, previous supervisory experience, and knowledge of health and safety regulations. Responsibilities include ensuring food preparation compliance, effective team communication, and maintaining high hygiene standards. Location: Cleveland & Durham Police Tactical Training Centre, Urlay Nook Stockton on Tees, TS16 0QB. This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours per week. Salary of £26,886.38 per annum and benefits package.
Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm with 30 minute lunch break.
This role includes a DS Basic check; therefore ability to pass is essential.
You will oversee the running of the canteen facility including the preparation and cooking of food and beverages, ordering of all food and non-food items for service provision; to be particularly responsible for strict personal hygiene and the hygiene of staff ensuring compliance with work performance governing environmental health regulation, menu, and stock control. Ensure efficient and friendly service, and maintain effective communication with the Account Manager.
