A charitable organization is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to lead the team at their Granary Restaurant and catering outlets. This role focuses on food preparation, staff supervision, and supporting adults with learning disabilities. The successful candidate will have at least two years' experience in catering and relevant qualifications. This full-time role offers excellent training and a chance to make a meaningful impact in the community, alongside competitive employment terms and opportunities for development.
Are you an experienced Catering Supervisor with a passion for delivering great food and outstanding customer service? Do you want to use your skills in a role that not only runs a busy kitchen but also makes a real difference in the community?
At Canterbury Oast Trust, we are looking for a Catering Supervisor to join our team at the Granary Restaurant and catering outlets within the Rare Breeds Centre. You’ll support the Catering Manager with the daily running of our catering operations, lead a team of staff, and ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same – from preparing and serving food, supervising staff, and managing stock, to supporting adults with learning disabilities who train and work alongside us in the kitchen. You’ll also deputise for the Catering Manager in their absence, ensuring smooth operations across the department.
Canterbury Oast Trust (COT) supports adults with learning disabilities across Kent through residential services, day opportunities, and life skills training. Our Rare Breeds Centre is a working farm and visitor attraction where our values of Be Courageous, Seek Opportunities, Work Together guide everything we do.
If you are enthusiastic, motivated, and ready to bring your catering experience to a role that blends food service with purpose, we’d love to hear from you.
Apply now and join a team that delivers more than great food – we deliver opportunities, dignity, and achievement.
