We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as anAssistantFront ofHouseManager at Hartpury University and College. Within this role, you willwork with the Front ofHouseManagerand lead your teamto ensure great customer service isdeliveredeveryday.

Hartpury University and Hartpury Collegeisa specialist institution near Gloucester, England, focused on animal, agriculture, business, equine, sport, and veterinary nursing education. The campus is a 360-hectare rural estate with significant investments in facilities, including a working farm, an Agri-Tech Centre, equine and canine centres, and professional sports facilities

A day in the life of an Assistant Front of House Manager:
  • Ensure the team is motivated and provides a service focused environment
  • Assistwith stock control and ordering, staffrotasand shift patterns, alongside training and coaching your team
  • Ensurecleaning schedules are in place and followed by stafftomaintainhigh standards
  • Operating the till and cash handling – exploring upselling opportunities and providing excellent customer service
  • Making drinks and serving food
  • Greetingcustomers and providinga welcoming and friendly environment
  • Demonstrates a real understanding of the menu items and can explain it to customers in an enthusiastic manner – is able to train new starters
  • Cash management, giving change, recording orders, cashing up
You'll be set up for success if you have:
  • Experience with being a team player
  • Experience of Supervisor or abovein a catering environment
