About the role

Job Title: Catering Assistant - Driving Essential

School Location: Ricards Lodge High School

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 9.30am-2.30pm (25 hours per week)

Working Weeks: 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days)

Pay Details: £13,125.75 per annum

AS THIS IS A DRIVING ROLE YOU WILL NEED A CLEAN FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE (you will be using an IFG vehicle)

What will I be doing?

As a catering assistant that drives you will be supporting with a delivered in service from a main hub school kitchen to a smaller site

  • Part of your role will include packing up food in an IFG van, driving the van to a local school, Unloading the food and serving and returning to the original school
  • Working as part of the catering team at the site to provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.
  • Assist in the preparation of food and snacks for the site
  • Counter service and till work
  • Keeping the kitchen and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state at all times.
