A very special school in Maidstone is seeking casual Teaching Assistants to support pupils aged 2 – 19 with special needs. The role requires adaptability and teamwork to assist with staff absences. Candidates can expect varying hours and shifts based on the school's needs. Experience in special needs or a child-based environment will be advantageous, but passionate candidates looking for their first opportunity are also welcome. Inspirational casual Teaching Assistants required at this very special school. We are looking for casual Teaching Assistants to join us. The successful candidate will work in a team of bank staff to support with staff absences within the school. You could be required to work in any area of the school and that could change on a daily basis. You have no normal hours of work and you will be required to work on an 'as required' basis. Your hours will vary according to the needs of the School (and your availability to work) but you could be required to work a 6.5 hour shift at any time between 8.30am and 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. The School will notify you of the days and hours that you will be required to work in advance of each assignment. The School is under no obligation to provide you with work, or to provide you with a minimum number of hours each day or week.

Due to an increase in pupil numbers we require Teaching Assistants to join our 'Outstanding' school. We are looking for drive, enthusiasm and potential to join our friendly, professional, positive and forward looking school.
Successful candidates will either be experienced and successful Teaching Assistants who enjoy team working and taking responsibility or have worked in a Special Needs or child-based environment. Alternatively, you may have a passion for special needs and be looking for your first opportunity.

Roles can be based at any of our sites – Loose, Allington and Snodland – but will predominantly be Loose based.
