Great Oaks College is a specialist independent college for young adults with Special Educational Needs.
We are in a transitional period of relocating to two new sites in Sunbury-on-Thames (Surrey) and Hounslow.
The college provides further educational opportunities to students aged 19-25 with moderate, severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties, many of whom also have other needs such as physical disabilities, sensory impairments and autism. We run three Pathways: Vocational, Life and Living and Engagement for Life.
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join our dedicated team of a specialist college for young people with learning difficulties and disabilities. Your role will involve maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and security of the premises, carrying out minor repairs, and supporting a positive environment for students and staff. Experience in a similar role is preferred, and an understanding of working around individuals with special needs is essential.

This position is subject to a satisfactory, enhanced DBS check with adult barring and references being received. All positions are subject to the satisfactory completion of a twenty-six working week probation period.

Caretaker 1st position: 7.30am – 3.30pm

Pay Scale: Inner London Pay Scale 4 between points 4 £31,980 and point 10 £33,384 for the full time
